MU51 'City beneath the sea' episode begin with a funny scene where Prince Adam, blindfolded, is trying to catch 2 girls and ended up with his hands on the King!

This is the first meet between our Heroic Warriors and and the old Shelandor when they get to Aquatica, being capted by some guards.
This camera angle is often used by Filmation and during this blog I will post other cels showing that.

Shelandor again..Here he is driving a sub-marine near to Man-at-Arms to the rescue of Princess Nami..
Nothing special, but is nice to see such a different -heroic- characters nearby.

He-Man is defeting Lorbos by lifting and trowing him just on Mer-Man!
Looking how He-Man's hands go under Lorobs body, we can assume the creature's body is not as hard as a lobster shell,,and make this a little funny :))

8 days without entries..
..this means that today I'll try to open at least 5 new entries!

By doing this I will have almost all of my mu51 episode cels posted and shared with all Masters of the Universe fans!

Lorbos is one of the 2 huge creatures faced by He-Man in the episode (mu51) "City beneath the sea".
This creature is basically a huge lobster whit a laser-shooting tail; we can say it's the "classic funny monster" that we can often see in MU (and of course Filmation's) series.
Near the funny monsters we can find 'frightening' monsters wich are represented in a more seriours style.
We can find a clear example of 'frightening monster' near the end of this episode when He-Man faces the huge Coral monster.

Let's go on with an half-length of Shelandor.
Probably/for sure this character was designed for He-Man show, but I wonder if it's a reused/inspired model from another Filmation show..who knows?

Shelandor is the old, wise man who helped our heroes to save the Princess of Aquatica from Mer-Man.
I really like the colours used on this character, the red and purple make a good contrast whit his green/aqua skin; and his cap is too interesting because as you can see it's some kind of seashell.
I'd really like to know who is the artist who designed him ;^)

Let's go ahead with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode "City beneath the sea". Here we have the master mariner character, an old man that appear in the series for few seconds; it's just a secondary figure (like many more in the series) but more interesting is the Eternian sea map behinde him,,so now we can have an idea of how the sea is on Planet Eternia.

Princess Nami is going to be saved by He-Man in this wonderful cel! He-Man stands in front of the Princess, trapped inside a glass bowl,,There is some 'fairy tales' magic in this scene, this is probably why I really like it!
Princess Nami is a character created by Filmation, and this model was used (if I'm not wrong) other 2 times before this appearence; I really like the marine color scheme, specially her green skin.

Ok,
from now on I will try to post at least one cel everyday! I really like the idea of sharing with all of you Filmation and "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" fan my collection and to be honest this was my purpose when I started this blog..
I even have so many layout drawings and I'd love so much if any Filmation artist, by stepping here, would evere recognize his own work!
so let's start now the 'one per day' project!
